PARIS ~ vol. cinque

SNIFFFF......almost time to go home!

Here we are 3 days away from our voyage home and I'm realizing that I am starting to feel "at home" here.  It has been an amazing experience and hope to do another studio/vacation trip like this again someday.  My wife lovely Lisa arrived a little under 2 weeks ago, so obviously the sudden end of news updates should come as no surprise to anyone.  We had romantic meals to enjoy, her birthday, a three day visit to the Venice Bienalle, and of course numerous adventures in the city of light.  This will be the last update before our journey home so this is the proverbial "it".  Thanks for checking in, I look forward to seeing everyone soon when we return to "our home and native land!"

Below are some general pictures of our hijinx around Paris the first couple of days Lisa was in town.  For a big selection of other photos of our last week and a half of activities click on the links below to visit:

MONTPARNASSE (including a visit to the Catacombs)

THE LOUVRE

THE POMPIDOU CENTER (wild contemporary art!!!)

THE EIFFEL TOWER

VENICE & THE VENICE BIENALLE

My little bear and I our first night together in Paris.

Obviously I've been a good boy on this trip eh?

A delectable quiche-like dish called Tartine Berthillion capped off with some lovely and very strange cheese.
